Look closely at this photo… Here’s what’s hidden behind this image…
Separation from their parents can be a terrible experience for any child. That’s why going to school alone can be very stressful for many children, especially at the beginning, when they are not yet used to this new phase of life.

As little Axel Johnson got ready for school, he seemed very excited. His mother, Amy, took a picture of him beaming as he waited for the school bus! But when he boarded the bus, Axel’s expression changed, and he was on the verge of tears. Apparently, little Axel wasn’t as strong as he thought he would be when he had to say goodbye to his mom.
Bus driver Isabel Lane noticed the change from joy to sadness on Axel’s face, but she was determined to show him that there was nothing terrible about getting on the bus and going to school with lots of other children his age! As Axel sat in the seat behind her, Isabel put her hand behind his back and Axel squeezed her hand.

Amy managed to capture this very sweet moment on camera. Isabel showed that she was more than just a driver; she cared about the children’s happiness. She wanted Axel to know that he could always count on her on the bus, even when his mother wasn’t there.
Her gesture calmed the frightened boy and showed him that everything would be alright. Amy found the photo of her son and the bus driver so cute that she decided to share it on Facebook. She expected people to like it, but she didn’t think it would receive so many positive comments. The photo was even shared by the local police and generated over 2,400 reactions. Isabel was surprised by the compliments she received. “I didn’t think it would be this bad,” she admitted.

“I think it would be something I would just do.” But it was meaningful. The next day, Axel was no longer afraid because he knew he had a friend in Isabel. He was beaming and eager to begin a new adventure. Thanks to Isabel, Axel now looks forward to school every day. The full story can be seen in the video below. Don’t forget to share it with your family and friends. Perhaps it will inspire someone to do something good.
