His mother reported him missing to the Rouen police on Sunday evening. Since then, no one has heard from him. The young man was at a nightclub. The young man from Normandy was last seen around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. He was spotted near the So, a nightclub on Quai Ferdinand-de-Lesseps.

Owen Cerf had spent the evening there. Following his disappearance, Rouen prosecutor Sébastien Gallois announced in a statement that an investigation had been opened. Since then, his family and friends have been actively involved on social media. A missing person notice has been published. They are trying to find out where the young man might have disappeared to. Prosecutor Gallois even stated:
“Numerous investigations are underway, particularly concerning telecommunications operators, CCTV cameras, and banks.” Photos circulated on social media. Many people who know him shared the missing person notice on Facebook and Instagram. A recent photo of Owen Cerf was shared on social media.

“Is it possible to display this on your vehicles, please? Thank you all for sharing and supporting my sister and our family. Since her disappearance was reported, the investigations are ongoing. The river brigade is mobilized . The Rouen river brigade had already been called in to search the Seine. The affected area is near the nightclub. The search continues.”

Witnesses have also been questioned in this case. The prosecutor explained: “Several witnesses already identified will be interviewed in the coming days.” This appeal for witnesses was issued by the National Police. No news yet.
