The police in Janów Lubelski reported an accident in Kocudza Pierwsza between Dzwola and Frampol, which occurred on October 29 this year. According to Sergeant Faustyna Łazurová, a motorcycle and two passenger cars were involved in the accident.
A 71-year-old man driving a Honda passenger car tried to avoid hitting a car in front of him. He drove into the opposite direction and collided head-on with an oncoming motorcyclist. He also hit the side of the vehicle he was avoiding, the police officer reported.

Doctors fought for the 48-year-old man’s life for a long time, but their efforts proved futile. The man died. The victim turned out to be Grzegorz Berdzik, a councilor of the Józefów city council.

The funeral of the local official took place on Thursday, November 9, in his hometown. The funeral was led by Father Paweł Dynak, who spoke movingly about the deceased. “

I personally remember several of our meetings together.” Whenever we talked, you would ask me with a smile: “When are we going to go on those motorcycle rides together?” Today, unfortunately, I know that it will not be possible,” he recalled.
