An appeal has been launched for witnesses to help find Savanah, a teenager who disappeared two months ago near Dijon.

The Côte-d’Or Gendarmerie appealed on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for witnesses to help locate 16-year-old Savanah. The girl was last seen near Dijon several months ago.

Savanah P, a 16-year-old girl, disappeared on January 4, 2026. She was last seen in Ahuy, a small town in the Côte-d’Or department, just outside Dijon. However, investigators believe she may have already left the region and traveled to Paris.

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Côte-d’Or Gendarmerie issued an appeal for witnesses, particularly on social media. “Your vigilance can make a difference. Please share this post,” they wrote. Savanah P. is a young woman, 160 cm tall and weighing 55 kg, with long brown hair and light brown eyes. On the day she disappeared, she was wearing burgundy pants, a red sweater, black shoes, a gray coat, and gray earmuffs.

While the reasons for the teenager’s disappearance have not yet been determined, authorities indicated that  she ran away  ”  regularly  .” She was in the care of the  Simone Veil Children’s Home  in Ahuay. This facility deals with the ”  emergency placement of children in danger.” “The facility accepts children and adolescents based on administrative or judicial orders  ,” the facility’s website explains.

Although the area where she disappeared is approximately 300 kilometers from the capital, ”  recent but unconfirmed information  ” leads police to believe she may be in Paris. According to the National Observatory for Child Protection, 38,477 minors were reported missing in France in 2024. The vast majority of these cases involved runaways (36,439).
