At the registry office, the groom approached the bride, lifted her veil and turned pale when he saw her FACE. The guests froze, realizing WHAT was happening

When Victor and Adelina approached the moment they had dreamed about all their lives, no one expected that the wedding would turn into a nightmare.

All the guests stood in solemn anticipation, the music was soft and romantic, and the cameraman caught every detail. The groom held himself confidently, smiling, until the moment came to lift the veil from the bride’s face.

At that moment, his hand trembled, he took a step back, turned pale and looked at her as if he had seen a ghost. The guests began to whisper, the groom’s mother dropped her purse, and the bridesmaid pressed her hands to her mouth.

The face under the veil was different. Completely different. It was not Adelina. The woman under the veil had burn marks and scars that no one had ever seen. Victor could not utter a word, he looked at her with horror. Then the “bride” calmly said: “You didn’t even recognize me, Victor…” He recognized the voice. It was Leia, his ex-wife who had died in a car accident two years ago. At least, that’s what everyone thought. Adelina had disappeared the morning of the wedding, her phone had been disconnected, but Victor had decided to go ahead with the ceremony, convinced it was just panic. And then she had appeared, in a wedding dress, with a veil, calm and silent. Victor had been too nervous to notice anything was wrong. But now that her face was uncovered, it was obvious. The guests began to leave, and Leia came closer, took Victor’s hand and whispered, “Now you will be with me. Forever.” He tried to break free, but his body wouldn’t obey. At that moment, the doors of the registry office slammed shut on their own. The lights began to flicker, and a strange hum could be heard inside. The groom’s mother screamed, and one of the guests fainted. The bride turned to them and said with a cold smile, “You were all a part of this.” Black rose petals started falling out of the hem of the dress. Bloody fingerprints started appearing on the walls. Someone called the police, but there was no connection. No one. No mobile, no internet. The cameraman continued filming, as if in a trance. What was shown on the camera screen was completely different from what was actually happening – there was Victor standing alone, in front of an empty altar. When the rescuers arrived an hour later, the hall was empty. No groom, no bride, no guests. Just a dress on the floor. And a video camera, still on. In the recording, in the last seconds, you could hear: “You promised me eternity.” Since then, the registry office has been closed, but at night you can hear the music of a wedding march nearby. And a whisper. That same voice.
