Eminem’s mother Debbie Nelson  has died after battling lung cancer.

Sources tell us that Debbie died of lung cancer. She died overnight in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Debbie’s diagnosis was first made in September… And  reports  of the time said that life was not long for her.Eminem’s relationship with his mother is known to have been full of drama and roller coaster dysfunction.

Phoenix BooksEarly in his career, he publicly accused her of neglect and abuse, often exposing their dirty laundry in caustic songs like “I’m Putting My Wardrobe Away.”Debbie sued him for defamation in 1999, which further strained their relationship, and also wrote the 2007 biography “My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem.”Over time, however, he attempted to reconcile the two. Eminem’s 2013 song “Headlights” became a turning point… and he expressed regret for his harsh words and offered no apology for their strained relationship.

In recent years, their relationship has improved, and Debbie congratulated Eminem on his induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.She was 69 years old.
