I installed a hidden camera in my store because products started disappearing in a strange way: and what I saw shocked me

I’ve dreamed my whole life about having my own business. Without startup capital, without investors — just me, my hands, and huge determination. After many years, I managed to open my own small grocery store.

My employees are the kindest people, proven over the years. We’ve survived crises, power outages, and unhappy customers together. I didn’t just consider them colleagues — they became part of my family.

But suddenly, strange things started happening.

At first, I noticed that a few bananas disappeared every day. Then apples, pears, mangoes. Someone seemed to deliberately pick the ripest and tastiest fruit. I thought it was a warehouse mistake. Then an accounting error. But no. The disappearance of products became systematic. More and more each day.

I talked to the guys, but they all swore they didn’t take anything. They spoke so convincingly that I began to doubt — maybe I was wrong? Maybe I forgot something?

But one evening, my patience ran out. After the store closed, I installed a hidden camera. I told no one — not even my best salesperson. I wanted to find out the truth.

The next morning, I watched the footage. I almost dropped my phone from shock. I thought my employees were stealing products, but the truth was much more shocking Continued in the first comment

On the screen, it was clearly visible how through the back door, which apparently had been left open, carefully came in… a monkey. Yes, a real, furry monkey with expressive eyes and a tail like an acrobat.

She was clearly not a random visitor. First, she peeked to make sure no one was in the store. Then she quietly slipped to the fruit section and started carefully choosing — like a true gourmet.

First, she broke off a banana, sniffed it, didn’t like it, and threw it away. Then she found a peach, sat down between the boxes, and started eating it carefully.

When someone from the staff passed by, she quickly hid behind the boxes, froze as if playing hide and seek. Then, when she was alone again, she continued her tasting.

In the footage, she ate:

– two bananas,
– half a pineapple (yes, she clawed it open!),
– an avocado (bit and discarded — didn’t like the taste),
– and pears — that was true love.

I watched the footage again and again. At first in complete shock. Then with a slight smile. And then I couldn’t help but laugh. This cheeky little creature made “raids” almost every day, and we had no idea.

The next day, I came earlier than usual and stood by the back entrance. And you know what? She came. Confidently, without shame, as if at home. She stopped, looked at me… and seemed to frown.

I held out a banana to her.

Since then, I not only have a store and a great team, but also… a monkey named Fru-Fru. We made an agreement — she doesn’t steal anymore, and I leave her some fruit every day.
