When Terminator 2: Judgment Day  premiered in 1991   , audiences around the world were amazed by Sarah Connor’s incredible transformation.

From a fragile waitress, she became a strong, hardened heroine, ready to fight for the future of humanity. This role brought Linda Hamilton worldwide fame and the status of one of the most memorable actresses of her generation.

But things have changed over the years.  After her triumph in  Terminator 2,  Linda began to appear less often on the big screen. She was not interested in the glamorous life of Hollywood.

She has been open about her struggles, including a battle with mental illness that she has struggled with for years. It has affected her career and personal life.

Linda Hamilton’s appearance changed dramatically as she aged, gained weight, and all but disappeared from the public eye.

Many fans were shocked when they saw her after so many years – the actress looked completely different than in the 90s. However, Linda never hid her age and believed that aging was a natural part of life.

In 2019, she unexpectedly returned to her most famous role in  Terminator: Dark Fate  . She was already over 60 at the time, and it was quite an event.

Despite being happy to be back on screen, the actress admitted that she felt uncomfortable in the spotlight and it is unlikely that she will have the opportunity to act often in the future.

Today, Linda Hamilton lives quietly and away from Hollywood. She rarely gives interviews, does not appear at social events and likes solitude.
