How to Remove White Bleach Stain from Colored Clothes: Easy Way

We’ve all had the unpleasant experience of accidentally or trying to remove a stain, spilling some bleach on our favorite colorful clothes. It’s happened to me a few times, and before I just threw such things away, not knowing how to save them.

But thanks to my mother-in-law’s advice, I learned a few useful ways to bring even badly bleach-damaged clothes back to life.

How can vinegar help?

You probably already know that vinegar is an indispensable helper in cleaning your home. However, it turns out that it can also be an excellent ally in the fight against bleach stains. To reduce damage to fabric, mix vinegar with a small amount of alcohol. Dip a clean cloth in this mixture and gently pat the stain. Then rinse the clothes and repeat the process if necessary, until the desired effect is achieved.

Using special stain removers

There are special stain removers available on the market for removing stains from white fabrics. Typically, you need to dissolve the agent in a certain amount of water and soak the garment in it for about 90 minutes. Then rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water. Remember that for maximum effect, you may need to repeat this procedure.

Sun – your ally in the fight against stains

After a few treatments with vinegar and alcohol, the next step is to dry the garment in the sun. The sun’s rays help destroy the remaining chlorine, making the stain less visible. Hang the garment outside and leave it for as long as possible.

For better effect

If you want your garment to take on a vivid and fresh look, you can use special agents to restore the color. These products will help to restore the intensity and freshness of your garment, like new!
