Sofia stood by her father’s grave, unable to believe what had happened. His last words echoed in her memory: “You will be a star, Sofia, I believe in you.” These words were the last advice from the person who had always supported her dreams, despite all the difficulties.
She felt tears welling up in her eyes. The loss was too deep to understand right away. Everything she had ever considered her world had collapsed. Her father had left, and now she was completely alone. But there was truth in his words: her life was just beginning.
Sofia couldn’t let herself forget that her father believed in her abilities and hoped for her success. This belief was her only anchor, and she had to find the strength to move forward.
Her father’s death left Sofia without a support system. Her stepmother, with whom she had lived after her mother had left, was not supportive.
On the contrary, she set a condition for Sofia: she had to find a job, otherwise there was no place at home. Sofia, despite her sadness, decided not to give up. She remembered all the dreams that her father had instilled in her heart.
She had to continue her studies, despite everything that was happening around her. Her father always said that she would become a singer, and she believed that he was right.
She did not allow herself to be immersed in sadness. Step by step, Sofia made decisions that changed her life. She had to become who she had always dreamed of, and do it for herself and for her father.
She decided to continue her studies, despite all the obstacles, and try to realize her dreams of the stage.
However, with each passing day the situation became more and more difficult. Her stepmother would not leave her alone, and soon she received a direct command from her: “You no longer live here. Pack your things.” It was too hard for Sofia, but she could not give up.
She packed her things and left the house. It was hard to think about the future when the world seemed so incomprehensible and cold. The street was dark, and Sofia walked without a specific destination.
She had no one to support her. She was born into a family where both of her parents were orphans. She had neither relatives nor friends who could help her in this difficult moment.
Walking down the empty street, she noticed the lights of the restaurant “Breeze” in the distance. She remembered how her father often mentioned this restaurant when he talked about his friend.
At that moment, she felt that she could not allow herself to be weak. This was the place her father had talked about, and she decided to go there, despite her uncertainty.
When she entered the restaurant, she was greeted by a young man who offered to help. Sofia said that she wanted to meet the owner of the restaurant – Jeremy, whom her father had mentioned.
The boy left, and after a few minutes he returned with a man who looked confident and domineering, but with respect and attention in his eyes.
“Are you looking for me?” he asked.
“Yes. I am Sofia, daughter of Viktor and Elena. My father said that if I had a hard time, I could come to you for help,” she replied, feeling her voice tremble with emotion.
“Viktor and Elena? Why didn’t your father help you himself?” Jeremy asked in surprise.
“My father passed away. He died a few days ago,” Sofia said, barely able to say it.
Jeremy listened to her carefully and offered comfort. He said that he had always considered her parents to be close people, and even though they hadn’t been in touch for a long time, he was always ready to help.
He suggested that Sofia stay with him until she decided what to do next. She accepted his offer, because she couldn’t stay alone. Jeremy was there for her and supported her in any way he could.
Sofia continued her studies and, thanks to Jeremy, she felt that she was not alone. She was determined to pursue her dream.
One day, when an unexpected situation arose – the singer who was supposed to perform did not come – Jeremy suggested to Sofia that she replace her on stage. Sofia agreed, despite her doubts.
When she started singing, everything around suddenly disappeared. The hall fell silent, and people stopped, absorbed by her voice.
Jeremy sat in the corner and proudly watched the girl he once considered his friend’s daughter. There was something in her performance that hypnotized and did not allow itself to be released, like magic. He was sure that his father was right – she would definitely become a star.
After that evening, Sofia’s life began to change. She was no longer lonely. Jeremy became her mentor, and her successes on stage brought her new opportunities. She began to believe in herself, understanding that she could become what she had always dreamed of. Sofia did not give up, and now she knew that the future belonged to her.
