I always thought that such stories only happen in movies and books, that all this romantic snot and pink unicorns are the fruit of the imagination of not very gifted authors.
But this is exactly the story that happened before my eyes, which I involuntarily became a witness to.
That day, I went straight from work to the station, no one saw me off, I was going to see my mother, I had been planning to visit her for a long time, and now I had just received my long-awaited vacation.
The road ahead was long, but I preferred to travel by train, to fly by plane, I honestly admit, I was always afraid. The train was about to board, I got into the compartment, put my things on the upper berth and sat by the window. Two middle-aged men were saying goodbye on the platform.

At the nearest large station with a long train stop, he walked his dog along the platform for a long time. The train started moving again, and I decided to talk to my fellow traveler again.
“You know, isn’t it possible to arrange for the dog to travel with us in the compartment? Let’s get her out of this damned place, I can see how you’re both suffering.” The man looked at me with undisguised interest. “But that’s not allowed, it’s prohibited by the rules for transporting animals.” “To hell with these rules, we’re going together, I’m not at all against the dog traveling with us…
