The man was almost about to touch her shoulder when the girl suddenly lifted her head. There was no fear left in her eyes. She looked straight into his eyes and unexpectedly said loudly so the whole carriage could hear:
— Are you finished?
At her calm but firm voice, several people immediately turned their heads. The man looked confused for a second but tried to smile again.
— Come on, what’s wrong with you… — he began, leaning closer.
At that moment the girl stepped forward and said loudly:
— I warned you quietly. Now I’ll say it loudly. Step back. Immediately.
The entire carriage was already watching them. Several passengers stood up from their seats. The man became visibly nervous, yet he still tried to maintain a confident appearance.

Suddenly one of the men sitting nearby stood up sharply.
— That’s enough. Step away from her, — he said firmly.
Then another passenger stood up, and then a third. They moved closer, almost unintentionally forming a small protective wall around the girl.
The confident grin on the man’s face twitched.
— What’s wrong with you? — he said irritably. — She didn’t mind it. Don’t make things up.
The girl simply shook her head silently.
Then a calm female voice was heard from the seats:
— Don’t lie. I’m recording everything.
The woman raised her phone, and the video could be seen on the screen.
The carriage fell completely silent. Several passengers also took out their phones. The man began to grow visibly nervous, looking around.
At that moment a tall man in a dark jacket approached from the other end of the carriage.
— What’s going on here? I’m a police officer, — he asked calmly, looking around.
The “hunter’s” face turned pale. The train had just begun slowing down before the station.
Now he stood in the center of the carriage, surrounded by people, and for the first time he looked not like a predator… but like prey.
