When my husband opened the bag, he was in shock.

It was not in a normal condition: it was dirty and seemed exhausted.

My husband immediately put aside his surprise to focus on the poor animal.

The dog, though scared, approached him, as if it understood it was safe.

I rushed out of the car.

I couldn’t understand how a human being could be so cruel.

We decided to take it straight to a vet.

Fortunately, the dog didn’t have any serious injuries, just great fear and malnutrition.

After getting it treated, we found a shelter where it could be taken care of.

This little dog got a second chance thanks to our intervention.
