Legendary actress Sally Field, now 76, recently shared an unexpected story: her worst kiss on film was with… Burt Reynolds, her former partner.

On the show Watch What Happens Live, she hesitated at first but then named Reynolds, her co-star in Smokey and the Bandit.

According to her, filming the scene was far from pleasant, describing it as involving “a lot of saliva.”
The couple was romantically involved for five years starting in 1977, but Sally revealed they hadn’t spoken a word in the 30 years before Burt Reynolds passed away.

In a 2023 interview with Variety, she candidly stated, “He wasn’t good for me in any way.”
