The child, panicked, sobbed while crouching in the corner of the enclosure.
Its small body trembled with fear, tears streaming down its cheeks.
The lion growled low, raised its head, and looked carefully at the child.

But instead of aggression, as everyone expected, it moved closer, gently licked the child, and began softly touching it with its muzzle, as if comforting and soothing it — just as lions care for their young when they need help.
Gradually, the child calmed down a little. With its trembling hand, it carefully placed it on the lion’s muzzle, and the lion allowed it calmly. Their contact was full of trust and tenderness, despite the danger of the situation.

Finally, the lion slowly moved to the opposite end of the enclosure, leaving space for the zookeepers and specialists, who carefully approached and were able to safely extract the child.
