Accident on the eastern section of the M0 – 12-kilometre traffic jam
On the eastern section of the M0 motorway, on the side leading to the M1 motorway, at kilometre 37, near the Alacska parking lot, there were serious traffic disruptions caused by an accident. The section of the road was narrowed to one lane, which resulted in a 10-12 kilometre traffic jam during the morning rush hour. Although there are no traffic restrictions in the opposite direction, traffic from the M5 junction is sporadic, so a significant increase in travel time is to be expected there.

National situation: traffic jams on several entrances to the capital
On the M3 motorway towards Budapest, there are already traffic jams from the Mogyoród direction.

On the M7 motorway, extending beyond Egűr út, cars are already entering the capital from the roundabout.
On motorway no. 10, from the Solymar roundabout,
on motorway no. 51 in the Dunaharaszti area, progress towards the capital is also slow.

It is worth making a detour at the above-mentioned places, if the destination and traffic conditions allow it.

Reopening of small border crossings – traffic has been given the green light
Good news for travellers from abroad: thanks to the improvement in the epidemiological situation, several small border crossings on the Hungarian-Slovak border have been reopened, so that travel can again proceed smoothly:

Ipolyhídvég–Drégelypalánk
Ipolyvarbó–Őrhalom
Rárós–Ráróspuszta
Letkés–Ipolydamásd
In addition, the border crossing in Ólmod on the Hungarian-Austrian border has also been reopened, making it possible to cross the border at these points again.
