In a small town, lost among green hills and dense forests, lived an ordinary family: Anna, her husband Sergei and their faithful dog named Bim. Bim was a large, shaggy dog with kind brown eyes and irrepressible energy.

He loved long walks in the forest, where he could run at will, sniff every bush and chase squirrels. His owners were used to his antics, such as bringing home old bones or frayed sticks, but what happened one fall evening turned their lives upside down.

It all started with an ordinary walk. Sergei, as always, took Bim on a leash and went into the woods to give the dog a stretch before dinner.

The day was cool, with a light mist that drifted over the ground, giving the forest a mysterious look. Bim, as usual, ran in circles, disappearing behind the trees, then returning with a triumphant bark. Sergei was not particularly worried – Bim knew the way home and never ran far away. But this time something was different.

When Bim returned, Sergei noticed that the dog was behaving strangely. He didn’t jump as usual, didn’t demand to throw a stick, but moved slowly, as if afraid to shake something off.

On his back, right in the thick fur, swarmed something small, barely noticeable.

Sergey took a closer look and froze: three tiny creatures, no bigger than a palm, with shiny, almost transparent skin and huge, glowing eyes, were sitting on Bim. They clung to his fur, making quiet, melodious sounds, like birds chirping…

• Bim, what is it?! – Sergey exclaimed, but the dog only looked at him guiltily and lay down on the ground, as if inviting the strange guests to get off.

Sergei, trying not to panic, carefully took Bim on a leash and hurried home. In his head was a whirlwind of thoughts: what are these creatures? Where did they come from? Could they be some kind of rare animals? Or… something completely out of this world? He didn’t even know how to explain it to Anna.

When they entered the house, Anna immediately noticed that something was wrong with her husband and the dog.

Bim, who usually rushed to the bowl of water, quietly laid down on the mat by the door, and Sergei looked as if he had seen a ghost.- Seryozha, what happened? – Anna asked, coming closer.

And then she saw them. The little creatures, which by then had climbed off Bim’s back, were now sitting on the mat, looking at her with their huge eyes. They didn’t look threatening, more like curious, but the sight of them gave her goosebumps.

• It’s… they… Bim brought them,” Sergei could only squeeze out.

Anna, being a veterinarian by profession, immediately pulled herself together. She put on gloves, took a flashlight and began to examine the strange guests. …
