Candice, a contestant on Koh-Lanta: Secret Weapons, was hospitalized on Friday, June 18, after a serious accident while canyoning.

The 25-year-old survival instructor had to be urgently transported by helicopter.

She talked about her health while lying in the hospital.

An accident that could have turned into a tragedy. Candice, a contestant on the show “Koh Lanta”:

“Secret Weapon” narrowly escaped death on Friday, June 18. The 25-year-old suffered a heavy fall while canyon climbing.

She had to be airlifted to the hospital. Five days after the traumatic incident, the survival instructor shared the news from her hospital bed via Instagram post on Wednesday, June 23.

After the fall, 
the traveler humorously consoled her followers. 
“Well, as you can imagine, on Friday I decided to turn my body into a giant puzzle… a few broken pelvis and elbow, a few stitches…” she wrote in the caption under the photos. She then added, 
“I even managed to fly an incredible EC145.” But her seriousness soon returned. 
“Now all I can do is be patient and lie still in a hospital bed (a challenge for a hyperactive person, haha),” she continued. 
The young woman is well aware that “the result could have been much more spectacular.”

Candice is surrounded by her family as she recovers.

Since her hospitalization, the traveler has been posting regularly on her Instagram. This Friday, June 25th,   the young woman, who   “will be in the hospital for a while,”   is trying to keep herself occupied by asking questions to her followers. During this period of recovery, she can also count on the support of her loved ones and boyfriend. She still has some time left in the hospital before she can carefully return to the adrenaline rush of extreme sports!
