Brother and sister Carlos and Camino Alonso grew up in the big city, but they always dreamed of a country house where the family could relax in the summer. When they were older and firmly on their feet, they decided to fulfill their childhood dream.
At a family meeting, a decision was made…
about buying a house with a plot of land in the province. During the holidays, they planned to relax in a new country villa, and use the rest of the time as a small hotel.
Carlos and Camino sifted through numerous real estate listings. Among the pile, they chanced upon a sale for an abandoned barn, located in a picturesque spot yet offering a bargain price. Ultimately, price proved decisive, and Alonso and his sister decided to buy it.

Looking at the acquisition of Carlos and Camino, it was hard to believe that this idea would pay off.
But as the popular saying goes: “The eyes fear, but the hands act.”

The inside of the barn underwent a major renovation.
The space of the former cowshed was divided into rooms, which were furnished according to the latest designer fashion.

Looking at the interior of this villa, it’s hard to believe that it was originally an ordinary outbuilding!

It was decided not to touch the exterior of the building, as the stone walls look extremely impressive and evoke associations with medieval castles.

Carlos Alonso is particularly proud of the waterworks, as initially the barn was supplied solely with water from a nearby stream.
Now, thanks to modern filters, you can safely drink water straight from the tap!

In addition, water from the stream fills the pool in front of the house.
Considering the hot climate of Spain, this becomes a real salvation in the summer heat.

I can’t believe that an ordinary barn has been transformed into such a stylish and cozy residence!
