The dresser was generally in good condition, but it needed some renovation work.
The moldings were damaged, the top surface was scratched, and some handles were missing.
So, I started with a thorough cleaning to remove dirt and reduce the scratches.
I also removed the old handles and added a few decorative elements to give it more style.

To restore the dresser, I first repaired the moldings using wood filler to fix imperfections. Then, I reinforced the structure with glue to ensure its sturdiness and longevity. Finally, before applying the paint, I replaced the most damaged parts to bring back both beauty and functionality.

Once these steps were completed, I chose soft colors to give it a retro touch. I added decorative stencil designs on the upper part of the drawers for a unique character. Finally, I selected vintage-style handles to further enhance the dresser’s elegance.

After several hours of work, this abandoned dresser turned into an elegant, unique, and functional piece of furniture. My loved ones were amazed by the result! This project proves that with a bit of imagination and effort, even items destined for the trash can find a new lease on life.
